Investing is an art and highly emotional and subjective.

When buying stocks, if your buying decisions are based on"insiders' information or rumours" and not sound analysis, then you are gambling. Many investors enter the market when stocks prices are high (lacking of confidence to enter beforehand when prices were low). Once the stocks market crash, they tend to sell out their shares out of fear and pessimism, swearing to "chop off their fingers" and never enter the stocks market again. If such situation happens, all their previous gains may be wiped out and suffered a loss.

Investing is an art and highly emotional and subjective. Subjectivity is largely controlled by our emotions. There are times when we are optimistic or pessimistic. If we are unable to control our emotional weakness, we are unlikely to become successful investors.

To be successful, you must first understand yourself, in particular your emotions and the degree of pressure you can tolerate.

The investors should also analyse the country's economic prospects together with the earnings outlook of the major listed companies.

It is imperative that you like Mathematics as the sound mathematical knowledge plays a key role in investment.

新加坡海峡指数(STI) & DJI简析



本周区域股市,可以用表现"大勇"来形容.
亚洲股市表现亮丽.以一个月来作比对.
全球股市表现最好排行榜,印尼排名第4,新加坡排第5,台湾第9.

股友可以了解所谓的smart money走向.
印尼就是受惠于carry trade效应.

新加坡海峡指数(STI)全周续涨318点.波动幅度达353点.
基本上已经超过我的预测波动范围2.45倍.
可以用表现"超勇"来形容本周海指涨势.
在超买情况下,如市场没有利好消息支持.
可以预计调整将会到来.我已不建议股友再入场抢购.

短期阻力与支持点
支持点= 2167 ; 2095 ; 2037
阻力点= 2293 ; 2412 ; 2604

2000点是主要的心理支持水平.
目前看好2167的支持点.
以中线为基础,只要调整能守2000点之上可视为健康调整.
如失守2000点,指数将有机会试探1791点支持.

预计周一波动范围2304-2172
预计下周波动范围2382-2094

DJI方面,走势比较中规中举在预测范围之内.
全周续涨362点.波动幅度达423点.
8942点是第2波涨势的目标点.DJI还有上涨的空间.

支持点= 8426 ; 8287 ; 8175
阻力点= 8705 ; 8942 ; 9236

预计下周波动范围9171-7976


S&P 500比较能实际反应大部分美股走势的有效参考.
DJI只涉及30只成分股,但已有被操控的嫌疑(可留意每次盘中大跌后尾市助指数反弹的股项).
不排除这是美国政府,挽回市场信心和刺激经济的方案之一.
S&P 500在周线看来都算健康,并无过热上涨的迹象.
本波上涨目标点在1119点.
预计本周波动范围在988-870.
